When I first began my career in law, I never imagined that my path would lead me into the world of translation and interpretation. Yet, looking back, it makes perfect sense. Both professions require precision, integrity, and an unwavering respect for words — because in both, a single word can change everything.

From Legal Codes to Communication

Working within the legal world taught me the weight of language. I saw firsthand how a phrase in a contract, a statement in a deposition, or a paragraph in a judgment could alter outcomes.

When I started assisting with bilingual cases, I realized that language barriers weren’t just about communication — they were about access to justice. People weren’t being heard, understood, or properly represented simply because their words got lost in translation.

That realization shifted my entire path. I moved from practicing and assisting in legal processes to building bridges through language.
